These terms cover your use of AussieBuckets, a fortnightly/weekly/monthly budgeting app for Australia, run by Adriana Acero ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to the points below.

The service — what it is, and what it isn't

AussieBuckets lets you import a CSV file exported from your bank, sorts your transactions into buckets using deterministic rules (not AI), and shows you what's left to spend until your next payday. Any Offset, HECS-HELP or Super figures you see are numbers you typed in yourself — AussieBuckets doesn't calculate them, verify them, or connect to any account to check them.

AussieBuckets is a budgeting tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice. It doesn't know your full financial situation, and you're responsible for the decisions you make based on what it shows you. If you need advice on your specific situation, talk to a licensed financial adviser or accountant.

Your plan and billing

The free plan includes manual entry, the 4 core buckets and 1 CSV import a month. AussieBuckets Pro ($7.99 AUD/month, or $59.99 AUD/year billed annually) unlocks unlimited CSV imports, unlimited buckets and rules, and Offset/HECS/Super tracking. New accounts get 14 days of Pro free — no card required, and you're never charged unless you actively choose to continue after the trial.

Paid plans renew automatically at the price and interval you chose (monthly or annually) until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Cancelling

Cancelling is as easy as subscribing: open Settings → Manage, which takes you straight to Stripe's secure billing portal to cancel, change your card, or view invoices — no emailing support required, though you're always welcome to. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. See our Refund Policy for refunds after a charge.

Your responsibilities

• The CSV files you upload are your own bank data — don't upload anyone else's without their consent.
• Categorisation rules are a starting point; you're responsible for checking that your buckets reflect your real spending.
• You must be 18 or older to hold a subscription.
• Don't use AussieBuckets for anything unlawful, or to attempt to access another user's account or data.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or engage in fraud (including chargebacks made in bad faith).

Service "as is" and limitation of liability

AussieBuckets is provided as a budgeting tool without guarantees that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for financial decisions you make based on the app, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows. Meaningful changes are announced by email before they take effect — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
